Take a Minute is operated by Devon Allary. Questions about privacy or requests concerning information you send to support can be emailed to devonallary1@gmail.com.

Information in the app

The app stores the photos you select, personal words and captions, kit choices, settings, recorded stretch dates, and optional saved check-ins locally on your devices. An active pause and its timer are also stored locally. Take a Minute has no account system and does not upload this content to developer servers.

The app does not include advertising, analytics, session replay, or remote crash reporting services. It does not access HealthKit, your contacts, location, microphone, or breathing sensors. Take a Minute does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Photos you choose

The system photo picker opens when you choose to add a photo. Take a Minute receives only the photos you select, rather than requesting access to your whole photo library. It creates resized app copies and removes original photo metadata, including location metadata, from those copies. Deleting the original photo does not delete an imported app copy; deleting a card does not delete your original photo.

Your paired devices

When you use the paired iPhone and Apple Watch apps, your kit, resized photos, settings, and recorded progress can transfer between them using Apple’s WatchConnectivity service. Optional saved Watch check-ins can transfer to iPhone. Watch-specific settings and its local reminder stay on the Watch. A running session is not handed off between devices. These transfers make your content available on your own paired devices, not to the developer.

Retention, backups, and deletion

You control saved history and can remove cards, delete history, or reset app data in Settings. Some information is retained locally to complete and deduplicate paired transfers. An offline device cannot receive deletions until it reconnects. Watch-only history deletion does not remove copies already received on iPhone.

App data may be included in Apple-managed device backups, depending on your settings. Take a Minute does not provide a separate cloud backup service or erase older device backups. Apple’s platform and backup privacy terms apply to those services.

Support and this website

If you email support, your email address and the message or attachments you choose to send are processed to answer your request. Avoid including sensitive photos or smoking history unless you want to share them. Support email is handled through Gmail. We retain correspondence while needed to resolve the request and for related follow-up; contact us to request deletion.

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical request information such as IP addresses, browser details, and request timing to deliver and protect the site. We have not added website analytics, advertising scripts, forms, or marketing cookies. Cloudflare may process security and operational data under its privacy policy.

External resources and Apple services

External support links open only when you choose them. Their operators’ privacy policies apply. Apple handles App Store purchases, system services, and any system diagnostics or backups according to your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy terms. We do not receive your payment card details.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when these practices change and show the effective date above. For privacy questions, access or deletion requests about support correspondence, contact Devon Allary at devonallary1@gmail.com. The developer cannot retrieve or remotely delete app content held only on your devices.
